Description
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K is an all-in-one PA system you can take anywhere. It’s light enough for one person to carry and set up in one minute. The STAGEPAS 1K delivers wide coverage, thanks to an array of ten 1.5" drivers in the column section. The lightweight subwoofer base provides ample low end with its 12" driver. The Yamaha-pioneered one-knob EQ offers fast, accurate setups so you can get back to your music or presentation. Even users with no PA operation experience will be able to produce high-quality sound in under a minute. With simple setup and control, you’re able to focus on your performance.
Onboard amplifier and 12" subwoofer
The STAGEPAS 1K has a 1,000W Class-D amplifier module. Its compact speaker cabinet is capable of handling an impressive SPL (sound pressure level) of 119dB. The 12" subwoofer base provides deep, powerful bass response, yet it still achieves the smallest-class cabinet on the market for a subwoofer of this size and power. Yamaha’s own Twisted Flare Port technology reduces port wind noise that can occur with compact bass-reflex subwoofers.
5-channel digital mixer
With outstanding flexibility, the 5-channel digital mixer makes it easy to sound your best. It features one-knob EQ for optimized, multi-band equalization and industry-standard SPX reverb. There’s also a Mode control for master output compression settings that match various applications, such as speech or music. Each of these functions can be set via a single knob, and have simplified many of the tough tasks, like EQ and compression, to get you great sound quickly.
Flexible connectivity
The STAGEPAS 1K features three channels of mono microphone/line inputs and stereo inputs, with two of the mono input channels equipped with Hi-Z connectivity for direct input of acoustic-electric guitars and other instruments. In addition to TRS 1/8" inputs, the stereo connections support playback with Bluetooth devices, as well as a wide range of input sources, from instruments to CDs, PCs and smartphones.
